Mortech Teams Up with Google
If you haven’t heard yet, Google is now participating in the mortgage business. Google’s AdWords Comparison Ads is a new application that allows consumers to compare real-time mortgage quotes via Google.com.

By making your company’s rates available on this innovative service, you can create a unique channel for communication with potential borrowers. As a Mortech customer, you’re able to price the loans Google visitors are seeking and manage those which turn into leads directly from your Marksman account. New Investors Added 
Mortech has added several new investors in the last few months. Below are a few of these investors:

  • Home Savings of America
    Headquartered in Little Falls, Minnesota, Home Savings of America offers a diverse package of products and services for mortgage bankers. The company originates loans nationwide through the wholesale production channel.
  • Massachusetts Housing Authority
    The MHA is a state governed agency created to help Massachusetts residents obtain affordable housing. They provide an extensive range of services including home mortgage loans.
  • Sidus Financial
    Sidus Financial is a wholesale lender offering competitive pricing with low administrative fees. They offer a wide array of conforming products including, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs.

Connect with Consumers on their Mobile Phone
Mortech has gone mobile! As a Marksman user, you can now start participating on Mortech’s new mobile apps for the Droid and iPhone.

iPhoneDroid

The user friendly mobile applications allow consumers to shop and compare real-time loan offers side-by-side. Real-time rates are pulled directly from your Marksman account so you know loan offers are accurate. Potential borrowers can then contact you if interested - leads are automatically populated into your Marksman lead management platform. Seminar Thank You

Mortech’s New Datacenter
Due to our continued growth and to better serve you, Mortech is moving our datacenter to a new facility. The new location will remain SAS70 Type II compliant and still adheres to the highest industry standards in data security. The tentative move date is scheduled for Saturday, February 13th. This moving process requires that we change the IP address of the servers that support Marksman. If your IT staff has registered Marksman IP addresses in the past, please be advised these addresses will change. If needed, contact your Mortech account representative to receive a list of the new IP addresses. Results of the SAS 70 Type II audit are available upon request.

Lock-in Pro Tip: Did you know you can add your own custom fields to your lock request form? Don't see what you want in the list we created? Go to ‘Settings,’ ‘Additional Application Fields.’ Here you can choose where on the application to add the field, give it a name and even make it required.

Employee Profile

PEGGY BLOEBAUM

Peggy, a graduate from Lincoln Northeast High School, is responsible for updating rates to ensure customers have the most accurate pricing as well as finding and reporting adjustments in order to assure quality support. She also serves as the friendly voice behind a large majority of customers’ phone calls.

Before coming to Mortech in October 2007, Peggy worked at Nebraska City Housing Authority as an assistant to the executive director where she was in charge of accounts receivable and payable, drafting newsletters, bank reconciliation and a variety of other office tasks. She also previously worked at Nebraska Book Company in the payroll office and was responsible for payroll, data entry and employee relations and benefits.

In addition to working at Mortech, Peggy has been happily married for ten years and has three children and five grandchildren with another one on the way. While Peggy protects customer pricing accuracy, she’s proud of her son who protects the country serving as an MP in the Army- already having done one tour in Iraq, he is possibly going to Afghanistan in the near future. Right now he’s currently living in Germany, where Peggy hopes to travel one day to visit him. On the weekends she is involved in her church and teaches Sunday school to three and four year olds.
