Mortech Sponsors Gabe's Gang
Did you know that by 2013 the estimated cost of autism on the nation’s health care industry is expected to grow to somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 to 400 billion dollars every year? In spite of the prevalence of this condition, it receives less than 5% of the research funds allocated to other less common diseases.

Gabe
Mortech is sponsoring a website called Gabe's Gang. The site is designed to not only help the family with the high costs of treatment associated with the disorder, but also to educate the public about autism. Through this website, Mortech is working to make difference in the life of one child with autism. Please visit the site to learn how you can help.
Mortech Making Wishes Happen
This past April, Mortech participated in golf tournament hosted by Make-A-Wish and Lincoln Federal. Mortech helped sponsor the event held for Dylan Golden. Dylan has Charge's Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects one out of every 10,000 births.

Dylan
Mortech, along with several other participants, helped Dylan get his wish. "Dylan's wish was for some new playground equipment," says his Aunt Shandra "and he got a playset from Backyard Adventures, the rock climbing wall, a tire swing, a swirly slide."
Mortech Plays Santa
Each year CEDARS hosts a holiday gift drive. The gift drive benefits children who are not able to spend the holidays at home. Last Holiday season, Mortech donated more than $1,000 worth of new clothing and toys to Cedars for children ranging from new born to teens. More than 700 children benefit from the gifts.

The CEDARS Home for Children Foundation strengthens the community by improving opportunities and life outcomes for children, youth and their families through fundraising and grants in support of the CEDARS Youth Services. CEDARS Youth Services has a rich 60 year tradition of improving the lives of abused, neglected and otherwise vulnerable children and their families. As one of the largest nonprofit child caring organizations in Nebraska, CEDARS is committed to keeping each child safe while helping them to rebuild or find their forever family.
